Grow up Fitness Class

The American Heart Association recommends that all children age 2 and older engage in at least 30 minutes of moderate intensity activities each day.  Parents often do not think that children, already naturally active, need the benefits of exercise.  But both the AHA and American Academy of Pediatrics stress exercise aids in controlling weight, lowering blood pressure, reducing the risk of diabetes, raising HDL (good cholesterol)  and promoting good health.

This dynamic children’s class is fun and energetic.  The class sizes are small.  We focus on exercising using Cognitive Challenges and Critical Thinking Skills through physical activity.  We begin teaching and working with balance, flexibility, agility, coordination, posture, self control and self awareness.

Classes are twice a week M-W or T-Thur. Saturday classes available. Class times range from 9am-12 p.m. One hour each session.

Mommy and Me Boxing Class

In order to address mother daughter relationship problems the lines of communication must be kept open at all times.  According to Dr. Linda Meyer  “finding a common interest that would bring  mother and daughter together, can help strengthen the bond during the turbulent teenager years  by spending quality time together and having a whole lot of fun.”

The mother daughter bond is a powerful one capable of shaping our lives forever.  Sign up for a class with your daughter for some extracurricular fun and learning.   Nourish and celebrate your sacred mother-daughter bond.

This class will strengthen respect and trust through partnership training.  If you’re interested in having fun,  boxing, and spending time with your daughter,  this is the class for you.  The class focuses on boxing workouts, footwork, punching bag technique, and basic punches.

Classes are Saturdays, 8 week sessions - One hour each session.
